The Badminton ‘People Chase’ 2012
Sunday 7th October 2012 at 11am
Organised by the Rotary Club of the South Cotswolds

The Badminton Park Estate is situated in South Gloucestershire some 20 minutes north of junctions 17 and 18 of the M4.
The 1500 acre estate is the ancestral home of the Duke of Beaufort and Badminton House itself dates from the mid 17th Century although it has been remodelled several times since. The Parkland surrounding the House is some of the most beautiful in all of England and is home to a large deer herd.
Badminton Park is also the home of the world famous Badminton Horse Trials held every May since their inception in 1949. Today's equestrian event is ranked by many as the toughest in the world and attracts the biggest crowd to an individual sporting event in Europe, numbering over 150,000. It is also watched by millions of people on BBC television.
Thanks to the generosity of the current 11th Duke of Beaufort the Rotary Club of the South Cotswolds has been able to hold this fund raising Horseless Team Event in these idyllic surroundings for the past 26 years. During this time more than a third of a million pounds has been raised for a variety of national and local charities.
Whether you're a serious runner, fun runner or simply a walker this event offers a unique opportunity to spend some time in one of the most beautiful settings in the Country. So register now and come along and have some fun whilst raising money for the good cause of your choice.
Would you like to run or walk the same course the cross country horses do at the Badminton Horse Trials?
